The 29 of July 2023 O’shae Sibley was fatally stabbed while voguing at a Brooklyn gas station.
He was murdered for being black, queer and proud. He was 28 years old.

In a global climate of normalized hatred where certain lives are exposed to extreme systemic violences, my music has become a place for the expression of my deep anger and sadness.

Voguins is not a crime is a  mixed music composition. The piece is overlapping  a fixed electroacoustic composition and a live musical work.

The electroacoustics parts are made of  Youtube’s vidéo extract of American’s demonstration claiming justice and peace. Is also features deconstructed fragments of my piece Cendres.

Rather than a concert, this performance was  an electronic ritual, a celebration through collective listening.
